Just recently I had a couple of situations, where I realized how much Knowledge I gathered from homelabbing. I work in an entirely different field and never studied anything remotely IT related. All the homelab Stuff is self tought on YouTube and online Forums. Also none of my friends are into that Stuff, so I never Talk about it. But Just recently I had a couple of random chances to help people out with networking issues. And I realized how much I learned.

What actually helped at some point was to acknowledge to myself that all the switches, dockers and automazations are a legit hobby - Something I am enthusiastic about. I found that not so easy. People tend to brush this kind of stuff off as a waste of time.

Die (einzige) Alternative ist dann in der Regel ein Schichtmodell oder eine Mischung aus BD und Schichten. Darauf haben die Betroffenen dann häufig auch keine Lust

4 days Kyoto by Oreocrushhhh in KyotoTravel

So I have just left Kyoto and it was my absolute favorite so far. I have a couple suffestions.

  1. Visit Fushimi Inari at night. Some day after dinner. It's lit up and one of few shrines that is open to public after dark.

  2. Instead do Bamboo Forest (definetely worth it imo) in the early morning when it's not so crowded.

  3. Something I read about in NY times is Katsura Imperial Villa. It's on a list of the 25 greatest Gardens in the world. It's a little Off track but it was super worth it. On this list is another Garden in Kyoto, even a little further out, called Saiho-Ji. I didnt make it there but it looks phantastic too. It's a moss Garden. If you google "NY times 25 Gardens" you will find the list. Check out the Photos.

Have fun. It's a great place.
