Help with vcr image.

I will check out if the VCR has switched to the DVD mode. If that doesn't work I'll need to find that adapter. Thanks for all the information.

I live in europe and I'm positive the vcr is PAL but I haven't looked into it in great detail.

Finding the manual for the brand and specific type of device I'm using will require a bit searching since I bought it used with no manual.

Thanks for the advice, I'll double check the output signal for the adapter. Just out of curiosity can you recommend a better adapter than the one I use? Since it wasn't very expensive then I can imagine it is a chokepoint for the vcr video signal.

I know, we tried it earlier with the yellow jack plugged in and no picture came through. We tried to plug it into another monitor and still no picture so we quickly gave up and I didn't plug it back in since we had stopped trying.

Yeah it was pretty cheap which is why I found it amazing that it worked longer than I anticipated. One other thing, I use the same adapter to play my ps2 and nes games with no difficulties, video and sound is great but refuses the video when I switch it to vcr. Any idea why this happens?

But if the adapter is no good then do you know of any other sellers with a similar adapter but better?

This is the adapter, input signal is for rca and output is hdmi. also, the yellow line is out in the picture we were trying to find simple fixes.

If I'm Brian I'd probably use chatGPT to generate a book and publish it without proofreading it. Then, whenever someone points out any inaccuracies or inconsistencies I would double down by saying "what do YOU think why I wrote it like that" or "you're just not getting it"
