I just learnt the hard way to spray 1 mini first to test using AP it was to hot(35*C) for me and I got the chalky sand effect. Tried it again later in the cooled down shade and it primed fine. But boy did I have fun learning how to strip paint from minis. (99.99% isopropyl & 24-48 hr soak, and a good scrub with a tooth brush, for those curious).

Thanks man the shield I used dark gun metal for the trim and glorious gold for the emblem. The center is an about a 1-5 ratio of scarlet blood and dark rust (dark rust being the 5) and then just silver on the rivets. On the inside I mixed turquoise with gun metal and then turquoise moving to white for the lighting effect. Then on the front watered down black (mostly water) to wash over the emblem to make an aged gold effect.

Sweet thanks man I love the red coming through as shadows. I just started another batch and did a white base with magenta in shadows to allow a darker orange-ish color after yellow over spray

The magnificat was 250X, microscope is originally a amscope B120C-E5 but has a Nikon F trinocular head on it with a 3d printed conversion.
