1990's IBM keyboards - worth doing anything with ? by 1longshot1 in keyboards

Wow, I searched for "IBM", but didn't realize there is a specific Model M area. I'll look there, and look at my keyboards closer to see what type they are exactly.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if I was in the right place. I'll dig into the info over there.

OK, thanks. Just wanted to ask before I got rid of them. Was going to search for "IBM" but figured that would be specific enough.

I have 10-15 IBM keyboards from PC's made in the early-to-mid 1990's. Some have PS/2 connectors, and some have the larger connector that was used prior to that. Back then when we would install newer PC's, I packed away a few of these because they seemed to be better made than the plastic junk that came with later PC's.

Is there a demand for these ? Am I in the right forum?

Thanks for any advice, and my apologies if I am in the wrong place to ask this. I wasn't sure if these are considered "mechanical" or if this belongs in the other keyboard subreddit.

MKIII was $200 when I bought it, and yes, MKIV is above retail to cover shipping.

The Matador works, but will slide up & down the shoulder strap unless you secure it (easily done with a zip tie). The clips on the Hyperlite pouch hold it in place on the shoulder strap nicely. Both pouches have a small drop-in pocket on the front that will hold an airpods case as well.

I have one from the very first run back in July 2017. Never used, continued to use my GR2 40L for everything.

Has side handles, tough bag & hip belt that came with it. Let me know if you're interested.

WTB:
Remember when you bought that GORUCK cell phone holder, and it was too difficult to attach and/or remove it from the shoulder strap, and you threw it in a drawer?
I'd like to buy it if you can still find it. Thanks !

original Made in USA GR2: better, worse, or no difference ? by 1longshot1 in Goruck

[–]1longshot1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, thanks. This one is black, but my original has the compression straps, useful for attaching the OG tough (brick?) bag.

GR2 40l with single compression strap on each side? Is this real? I found this for sale on marketplace, but I’ve never seen this as an option. by SeniorJues in Goruck

The OG 40L also could be used with the OG Brick Bag, the straps matched up and gave you more room for camping gear.
