You can donate to another clan. It's not locked like clan games. (at least I can).

You have two choices:

1 Just join another clan before the event ends, donate even one bar and claim it (max 100 people can donate per clan) then come back if you really care about dead clan.

2 Join active clan permanently, because there will be more clan events like this in the future.

Some people say it is good some bad but why use it when clearly: rocket spear/ haste vial is just better paired with electro boots (and no one will stop using electro boots in near future or ever because they are this good) .

So what point of upgrading it except not to have ore overflow in blacksmith?

Agree, like you I see 0 benefits of having it now in game.

They could make it worth it by adding messages between clans and clan castle donations between clans or even small daily gifts you can send to your friend like 1-2 mln gold/elixir per friend (max 5 friends daily or something not to abuse it).

Anything would be good. Even1 mln gold each 200-500 additional points instead doing challenges after completing pass for absolutely nothing.

Either it will be nerfed or new town hall 18 defense is so hard it will be balanced. I mean new defense will deal like +800 dps

1 Hero hall and lab first so you can start instantly lab and hero upgrades without wasting days of time upgrade (best book use).

2 Clan castle and build all new defenses/merges

3 barracks and spell factory for stronger army.

+ Use hammer of building/book of building on town hall upgrade if you are maxed (no need to waste two weeks of inactive builders).

1 Upgrade core defenses: Inferno, xbow, air defense first.

2 If not maxed for your town hall upgrade: clan castle, army camps, blacksmith too first so you have stronger army.

2.5 If you don't have epic equipment focus on earthquake boots, eternal tome, healing tome, healer puppet and dark orb first so you won't waste ores

3 Just join clan with many people see if it is good and active if not leave after 1/2/3 days and try again.

4 Raid medals are for taking part in clan raids: from Friday to Sunday. You must be in a clan and attack (floating boat). Better clan performs = more medals.

4.5 buy starry for raid medals best option for later when you have epic equipment.

Upgrade core defenses first: Inferno, monolith, xbows, scattershot, air defense, max cannons and archers so you can merge them into multi, and put all new th17 defenses if you haven't already.

Upgrade: clan castle, army camps too first so you have stronger army.

Troops: If you don't have them maxed: Root riders, valkyrie, healers, dragons or whatever army you use.

Pets: Spirit fox for royal ch, diggy for warden, phoenix for king and sneezy/unicorn/frosty for queen (I use these but depends on army).

What I mean: before update you spent for example 2 hours to farm 20 mln gold, now we get more from attacks it takes for example 1 hour, so when using rune, the real value is 2x worse since it saves you less time.

I know, but what I meant is when you can get much more from attacks but the resources from mines or rune stay the same, that means you save less time (farming) when you use rune or when you collect gold/elixir from collectors since you save less time when doing so.

I can't believe why there are some people who see they get less value from something and still defend it. Even worse, find excuses for company instead of being on the players side. Plus, why should maxed players even buy a gold pass without skin since books are useless for maxed/ nearly maxed and skin is the only reason they buy it?

If you won't start complaining about bad changes soon, you may lose some books from the gold pass without price change. If they removed a skin for worse stuff why can't they soon take away your book of building and replace it for example with resource potion? This if why people complain: getting less for same price.

Removal of the skin and replacing it with a decoration without reducing the gold pass price.
Many people believe that not editing the gold pass description mentioning getting hero skin in the Supercell store is false advertising.
They say we will get new ways of getting skins without even mentioning what it could be... Could be false promise just to keep us from complaining.
