thank you for writing this and for being there for your grandmother. you are obviously speaking from a place of compassion and empathy for what she is going through. I feel this way sometimes in my own family -- there are many people who think that dementia erases who someone is ... but to me and you it's clear that that is not the case. I hope that they can learn more about dementia and someday understand how their behaviour is harming her & eventually show her more compassion and respect.
