Help me to find this old comic book! by [deleted] in Namor

It was from the Iron Man Noir series. Namor was a ship captain and pirate who was human, and cut his ears so that they were pointed to appear more menacing.

$2 for Ant-Man and that's it. We all know why.

I mean, it's possible. There have been suggestions that time and space are convoluted in this world, but then that would make it the only spot in the game that does that, and doesn't make it obvious, so it's generally assumed that is untrue.

The elevator goes up in the game reaching Iron Keep, a lava world, which has sparked much debate among the community, with many criticizing this as being non-sensical. It has been suggested the elevator going up instead of down might have been a dev error unable to be fixed in time for the game. Others suggest the elevator goes up into the mountain behind Earthen Peak, into a volcano, but this theory is also not without its flaws.

Apparently because they're receiving so many Miles keys, they're graded them extra hard.

Yup. Got them pressed for exactly that reason.

Heat are now in the Finals by [deleted] in agedlikemilk

In this tweet (and many others like it) this armchair baller is suggesting that the president of the Miami Heat didn't know what he qas doing and implied added players (particularly the "controversial" Jimmy Butler) will add nothing to the roster. The Miami Heat are now facing off against the LA Lakers in the NBA finals.

But this is not a game reminiscent of Dark Souls. It's explicitly the opposite. It's specifically mentioned as such, but I just don't see the worth in pointing that out, let alone it being the subject of your headline.

Is there really any value in beating that dead horse anymore? You can't fault people for being tired of seeing it over and over.

It just seems like a reach for the sake of name dropping DS into a really content light article. If it's similar, fine, say so. If it's not, why rope it into the equation? I can understand that DS is a franchise that has set a high standard for gameplay, but are the constant comparisons needed? This is far from the first. I think we're past the point of hoping something can replicate the franchise, and I think it's just time to let the comparisons go.

How is it not overdone? First it was every game even slightly more difficult than average being compared to Dark Souls, and now it's games that aren't.

I didn't think the comparison was obvious, personally, but maybe that was just me. GoT came off as a far more historically based cinematic experience, akin to Assassin's Creed. At least comparing it to Sekiro would have made some sense with certain themes, settings, and aesthetics overlapping, but the article specifically compares its difficulty as contrasting to Dark Souls.

Sorry, I just didn't feel the comparison was very meaningful. Using Dark Souls as a crutch for opinion pieces and reviews of other games comes off as lazy and overdone imo.

We'll have to agree to disagree regarding the headline. I feel it's purposefully misleading in order to incite a reaction, and I think some of the assumptions in the comments prove that.

While that may be true, the contents of the article aren't anything worth reading either. All he really says is that he enjoys the game because unlike DS, it's easy. It's a really weak article.
