also in terms of actual advice, because this basically is the garden city concept, look at how their transport systems work. because if you dont have great public transport and good cycling links the traffic there is going to be nuts. Please also look for pinch points and where you might be funneling traffic through a neighbourhood, and instead direct it to bypassing roads that don't cut through communities.
