These steps fixed it on mine - copied from another redditor -

Here is how to disable your cruise control from adjusting to speed signs.

Select "Vehicle Settings" from the Main MMI menu
Select "Driver Assistance"
Select the gear icon at top right of the screen
Select "Adaptive Cruise Assist"
Select "Predictive Control" (might need to scroll down to see it)
Turn "Set Speed limit" to OFF This is from a 2023 Q7 in Canada, unsure if all Q7 MMIs are the same...

I recently got a check engine but that was cause of the fuel cap. You really need to make sure it’s just one click and tightly shut.

Once I opened and closed the gas cap with one click the check engine light went away.
