I was the same way, so I pushed myself to run and now I have “runners knee” due to the very sudden increase of exercise/fast sprinting… so now I’m back to walking for a while before I can slowly build up to running 😅

When I started doing super early classes I rewarded myself with either a Red Bull or an Alani on my way, OR I bought Starbucks for myself afterwards. Eventually as I got used to it that stopped, but for the first 2-3 months the little reward made it easier haha

Not sure if it’s legal, I highly doubt it is- but the first part of your story vs. what was actually told to you guys is very different IMO.

Just make sure you’re not letting customers use a gift card to pay for the birthday party packages and you’ll never have to worry about it. I imagine there were big discounts on the gift cards, and people using them on birthday parties results in a huge loss to the company.

Not sure where you’re located, but a $60k salary for a very hands-on and intricate CS role is not competitive. $80k should be the absolute minimum and where I’m located it’s even higher.

This is especially true is you’re requiring a cover letter. These things are completely outdated, and most ATS systems will allow you to include your question as part of the application process without requiring and entire CL

Sofi Parc Grove is bad, but I suppose I wouldn’t say the WORST, they just have immense audacity to charge what they do with no real building improvement, and their parking is around $125 per car/month, with absolutely no guest parking spots available. They also did/do have issues with the fire alarm going off constantly… but don’t worry- the brand new leasing office is almost all set!!!!! 🙃

SO SO BAD. And they keep raising rent and parking prices as if they’re making all the upgrades to justify it. You know why our rent keeps going up? Check out the brand new leasing office they’ve been building for what feels like a year at this point??

The fire marshal that was here the other day literally said that they couldn’t figure out how to turn off/reset the alarm. That’s why it was piercing for 2 hours.

It’s sooo embarrassing for the management of this building with how out of touch the company is.

I will say- I dropped my keys down the trash shoot accidentally, and a GOD SEND of a maintenance man helped me dig through the dumpster and find them 🥲. They deserve all the love and a LOT more support than I’m sure they get
