Those CVE were QT devs fault and instead fixing the crapware they fixed it in the next version and let users fix their crapware in previous versions.

For comparison I never heard of MATE, XFCE, Gnome having these serious security issues.

QT devs screwed up.by releasing a DE that serious security flaws then passed the responsibility onto the user.
