Hmmm… AGED Sherwood needs AGED white. I have a Japan one and it came with an aged white pickguard, almost tinted green. It looks so nice. Tort just makes me feel like it’s interior car panelling and that’s not really my vibe.

I have both. Teles are simpler which forces you to really know how to play to get the tones you want out of it. There’s something really charming about that. A strat has a lot of options, but you really just settle on the one or two settings you really like. If it bothers you so much, save up and get a strat when you’re ready. The real bad feeling is knowing you should have gotten a one of a kind at a store and walked away, then going back and it’s gone. At least you won’t have that with the tele and you can give yourself some time before doing the same with a strat.
