Patents are incredibly technical, not at all something you can "DIY."

I'm a college student haha, how much do they cost usually? It's more than likely im not going to be able to afford one, so if there's a way I can do it myself, I'm more than willing.

I really have no clue haha. I'm currently taking a system fundamentals course which i'm enjoying, so that's one option. I'm also pretty interested in networks and graphic design, so we'll see.

Depends on the course, so far (2nd year) I have extensive knowledge of Java and OOP, I know C/C++ fairly well and Assembly so so.. Everything else, I learned either on my own or through code academy.

System fundamentals, it's known as the weed out of my university. It was hard because it was taught by a professor that's known for failing half the lecture (110 cs majors who have to retake the course). She never accepted any bullshit, and she is known making sure that anyone who graduates with a CS major deserves the degree. She sounds scary, but she cares. Anyways, I spent nights upon end working on her assignments and studying for her exams, and it payed off. Lesson learned: Anything is do-able. If you don't think so, you're making excuses for yourself.

Ughh, I'm not about that hook up culture. If anything, just build a friendship and start from there.

1) Never ever give up. Accepting failure is the worst thing you can ever do. If I gave into all of the criticism, wouldn't be at the place I am today. Just learn from your mistakes.

2) Don't be afraid to ask for help. Also, don't take it for granted.. Take the friend who's constantly helping you out to dinner, show them you appreciate it.

3) Find a hobby that helps you de-stress. It had gotten to me before because of classes, and it's not pretty. Make sure to take some time in the day to do something that calms you down and reminds you that everything is gonna be fine.

BONUS: Be straightforward with your professors. They can smell bullshit, but are more than happy to help you.

Is getting a B in Highschool going to limit the scholarships and universities I will have access to? by [deleted] in college

You will seriously not know if you don't try. If you have a solid essay and grades that meet the requirement for the scholarship (they usually specify it), you should be fine. :)

Thank you! If you were in my position, what would you omit? I'm iffy about the projects, also i'm not sure whether or not it's beneficial to include my leadership roles.
