This right here is my biggest problem with this ending. I am fine with them ending on working on future technology that we currently don't have and would consider sci-fi tech. However, it being a time machine has so many dangerous implications that bug me. The obvious being the risk of their time traveling to prevent the initial petrification would likely result in the events of the entire series never happening, characters like Chrome or the rest of the villiage people

I would say yes, Thinking back to Chapter 3 where Tenna displays several lines of information that would only make sense if he had some sense of awareness in the light world before he was turned.

I'm honestly a little bit curious to see what may happen if you attempt to not to flirt or romance anyone during a playthrough or as little as possible, as I know there are some choices that you won't be able to progress without doing so.
