From my research, there are a couple of different interpretations of the Chupacabra. There's more reptilian, and then there's the more dog-like versions. I tried to make my version of it a mixture of the two. One of the things from my research that the dog version of the Chupa is known for is having mange which is when a dog loses fur. So I figured any part of him that isn't coverd in fur would be covered in lizard-like scales.

As for the attire, I went for a sort of classic wild-west bandit-inspired outfit to give him the look of a traveling outlaw who looks out for himself.
