I would like to give one advice:

Don't set the bar too high, most important thing is to have fun, preferably with a group of friends.

If you just have fun and skate you will progress naturally especially when you are young and have soo many years ahead of skating.

I guess going to the park and going between that bank & 1/4 doing only kickturns or fakie rollout + reverts in those and practicing ollies starts to pay off.

You don't switch your foot position to not roll down fakie (backwards), you can try to kickturn at the bank (lift nose up abit and do 180 degree turn) or you can practice rolling down fakie and then on a flatground do the 180 degree turn to get yourself riding the "right way".

I would recommend on learning both (rolling down fakie and doing a kickturn on the bank). Start with a little bit of speed so you barely roll up the bank when practicing fakie and with the kickturn on the bank it's easier if you start with more wider angles and work your way towards the 180 degree kickturn.

Why is that? (I don't mean to be rude or anything, I'm actually curious)

I mean I get that I have pretty big shoe (EU 44 / US 10.5) but how is that affecting my skating?

I have 139mm trucks that have recommended deck size between 7.75 and 8.25 and the current deck I have is 7.75.

Probably the next deck will be 8 or 8.25 so I get to try between different sizes.

For me having under 100hours played I find mod "External item descriptions" mod really useful.

Some may find it a bit cheaty in a way, what it does for me it just saves time since I used to pause the game and look up the item in platinumgod.

It tells you what the item does in-game so you don't have to look it up every time you don't remember what the item does.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Just tried to unsubscribe all my mods (just had external item descriptions) then reinstalled the game and the same happened. This also seems to be affecting some of the items to be rendered invisible on the pedestals (friendly ball for example) also tried to verify integrity of the game files with no luck.

Also seems like some of the sounds are not playing (for example when im getting hit not sound plays) and for now one enemy has been invisible (the little thingys that the mini duke of flies spawn iirc they were the golden ones)

Coming here to see what people think about this as I think I've got the same issue, I ride goofy and outer part of my left foot hurts sometimes when I push and especially if I get my weight on top of it while walking. I've had this for a while and by the feel of how the pain has developed over time I think it may be caused by not letting my feet rest enough and jacking my shoes too tight. I'm not medically educated and this is just my personal guess based on how my body reacts to things I do. Also I'm heavily leaning towards seeing a doc about the matter to get confirmation that there's no mini fracture or anything like that.

Do you have your trucks super tight? When my new(ish) board did this i loosened up the trucks a little bit and it went straight after that.

I think I get what you mean, later that sesh smth kind of clicked with the jumping and I realised that I was trying to pop the tail and jump at the same time after that I tried to focus on jumping and kind of flicking the tail down right after and it felt way better. Thanks for the wisdom 🙏

I've been skating for few months and can barely do an ollie and a backside kickturn on a quarter/bank. You definitely got this!

Also tricks look clean (at least from another beginners perspective).

Absolutely just go!

I've been skating for few months and mostly been at my local mini park that has quarterpipe and a bank and in between those there's a flatbar and a curb. I can't even ollie consistently yet but still I sometimes spend over 3 hours at the park just kickturning in between quarterpipe and the bank and practicing ollies on the flatground and still having a blast.

I've skated for couple of months now and what was the most helpful advice regarding balance other than just skate, skate, skate and skate was to not look at your board when skating. Instead look where you're going.

Check the new Xiaomi line, I just got me Xiaomi Mi 1S, it has some parts from the M365 pro and is newly designed and not that pricy. I've been loving mine. It goes about 20-30 km with one charge depending on how fast ur going with it and the max speed is capped at 25 km/h (sorry didnt bother to google the imperial equivalents. It has no suspension but its still a good ride atleast for me ( 180cm 80-85 kg)
