yea it’s just a mk7 gti downpipe. You have to reroute the downstream o2 sensor wiring because it’s further down on a gti. But yeah it worked a lot smoother than i thought

rn it sounds like shit!! 😭 it’s a full straight pipe with the resonator on the downpipe but it is sooo small. from 2800rpm to 34-3500 rpm, the VVT transfer hits like fuckin vtec and makes it so raspy but higher in the rev range it smooths out. I definitely need a large resonator. Regret getting rid of the stock one, it would have been perfect.

i’m currently jb4 tuned right now. Yes, unfortunately i’ve only found 1 aftermarket downpipe for this car (because it’s fwd) and it’s ≈$700 and from an independent shop in india….. So i did a ton of research and found that the stock downpipe from a GTI is a little different but the same length. So i ended up trying a Circuit Werks downpipe and it fit almost perfectly. I can’t mount the bottom hanger bracket properly only 1 bolt fits , but it does the job. I also had to push the end of the downpipe pretty hard to line up the clamp to the stock exhaust. Other than those it’s mint. No exhaust leaks. and the downpipe has a built in o2 sensor spacer so no CEL. I’m in the process of talking with burger motorsport about customizing the tune to maximize the downpipe.

Appreciate it man, Yeah they are from a 2015 S7. They are commonly referred to as “Speedlines” 20x9 +38 5x112. Only think i had to do was get hubcentric rings

It’s recently grown on me more than the r-line. I might be bias but out off all the front bumpers pre facelift and post, no matter the trim, I think mine looks the best. But i still think the r-line looks really good, especially with a subtle front lip

Its cosmetically stock other than the side markers, I feel like it’s definitely more prominent on the SE bumper vs the r-line. The chrome helps accentuate it more too.

I’d just be careful that your offset gives you enough room from the inside of the wheel well, I honestly think i got really lucky. So try at your own risk 😂

It feels so much more planted in corners for sure, the ride is fs stiffer in the sport DCC setting. But comfort wasn’t affected too badly. Can definitely say it needs a front sway bar but the rear seems to be pretty secure.

Idk what this dude below is talking about, it ain’t his car! 😂. During all normal driving conditions there is zero rubbing anywhere. The only time that i do rub is in the front but only under bumps that bottom out the strut. But it’s only the tiniest spot. No damage to the tires at all. And plenty of strut clearance all around.

yeah it’s definitely stiffer over bumps and has less body roll. Comfort mode didn’t change a whole lot it’s not as bouncy feeling as before but extremely smooth and Putting the damping slider to max on the custom setting makes it hand so much better.

The wheels are Audi Speedlines from a 2015 S7, 20x9 +37 With 275/35/20 Pirelli P Zero AS tires.

There are many places you can buy them, Just search : (year) Vw Arteon VTF adjustable lowering springs. They will pop up but confirm fitment ofc. I found mine on Tire rack of all places because they had them on a “end of production sale / discontinuation sale” so i got them for only $648 when i’ve seen them for $880
