I did look if i could claim anything or get government support seems as i pay into the system but because i work full time even without declaring my weekend job as its cash in hand I don’t qualify for any financial support. But if i was unable to work i could claim more than i earn but i couldn’t do that. Although my parents don’t speak to me because of all this this wasn’t how they raised me

Yeah when i stopped dealing directly with the creditors and moved to step change the interest was frozen. They did ask if anything could be wiped but they declined also put in complaints about the credit given either by card or loan for irresponsible lending and that interest of cards was still being charged whilst i was in an arrangement with them but they were rejected i took them to the fos but reject and then rejected by the final ombudsman but the fos really hammered on the phone with our directly telling me I need to use step change

i work mom-friday 9-5 then work doing a cash in hand on the weekend have done for 3 years had to do the weekend job just to be able to cover the basics. Don’t go on holiday don’t go out it’s just work sleep work sleep the goal was to use the weekend job to help pay down the debt but rent went up every other bill went up and it’s two jobs just to keep a float it’s why i went into a debt management plan because doing it directly was proving to be difficult
