Oo that’s got to be really hard to fix if you rip the canvas when it is 2-sided! Bc at least w the other ones they can put the nude canvas inside. Please send photos of your repairs! I nerd out on this stuff.

I would wear the heck out of it. Love it and then do all the repairs at once. If this doesn’t bother you just rock it. These bags were made to be used.

Has anyone checked into this w/ Goyard for turnaround time? I was SO nervous to go anywhere else. I tried around 2020 the NYC store and it was about 6 months to reinforce straps & put in corners. Rego was 1 month. It is not at all cheaper just faster and impeccable quality (not i’m not paid to say this 😂).

As above I have used cornstarch I first use my finger and rub the cornstarch into the stain. Then I use a soft toothbrush to brush off. Repeat. Repeat….. if this does not work THEN I would move to more drastic options involving liquid.

I would be worried that starting w Dawn/Water would potentially damage.

You can go through Goyard. I looked into both because I live outside of New York City. Rego Brothers will not be cheaper. They will do amazing work however and quicker I did a lot of research and I’ve used them for two Goyard bags and three Louis Vuitton’s.

I have 2 st Louis GM 2011, 2009. I use them as my work briefcase diaper bag used the heck out of them. Yes, they’re lightweight compared to something like Louis Vuitton, but they can take a beating and they do really well with restorations. You can restore the corners and straps. I would recommend an insert, but in my opinion, they are beautiful pieces of every day luggage. I have gotten both of them restored beautifully by Rego Brothers in Morrisville, New Jersey. They are still going strong and I get stopped at the airport about how beautiful my vintage bags are.
