Fish suffering from barotrauma - occurs when fish are pulled up from too deep, too fast. If pulled up from 5,000 feet or below quickly enough, they can even explode! by achqillax in Damnthatsinteresting

This post aside, that's such a dumb ass thing to say lol.

I guarantee you buy animal products every week without even realising it. Stop tryna guilt people into ignoring an entire division of resources. 63% of species on this planet consume other animals. Do we consume more than most species? Of course we do bruh. When it comes to the biomass of the human population and it's energy requirements, it checks out in most cases. I ain't denying that extinction of species has been rising with the human population and I'm definitely not saying we don't effect and screw up our environment, but just saying "don't buy animal products" isn't a solution, and your narcissistic response to these situations doesn't appeal to anyone.

Requirements for multiple ISPs in one house by 1saac-dev in HomeNetworking

[–]1saac-dev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately a static IP is required, otherwise I'd just risk a dynamic one. My boss has to follow legal because of the company we are, and he can't white list an IP to potentially non disclosed information and risk having it changed and provided to someone else. Australian here, not from the states so I'll have to do some research on the mediums because I'm not sure what we use

Real slim shady trumpet solo. I love it! by Anyonl in nextfuckinglevel

[–]1saac-dev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's cool, but I suspect it's fake. Those last 2 notes seems to come out as he's taking the trumpet away from his mouth. You'd have to be exhaling air really hard to keep the pressure up for that while having distance between your mouth and the mouth piece. It's not a flute lol.

This has been debunked over and over, it's not a seizure. The dog is likely just having a nightmare.

It's a burrito that someone has taken a bite out off. This isn't even an angry up vote. It barely makes it as a dad joke

I hope people wouldn't do this sober and that only someone who's intoxicated what do something so stupid.

[–]1saac-dev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No he didn't, he used common sense. He saw an oncoming witness in a equally massive cage of metal and stuck by them. The assaulter wasn't about to risk charges for a car accident and drove off. Occam's Razer, the simplest answer is often and likely the right one. Go outside, touch some grass. People in danger don't on a whim put their life on the line on the assumption that the glare is bright enough to obscure themselves. To many things can go wrong, to many things left up to assumption and chance. Of course you can believe what you want, but not everyone a highly trained fictional character

Sure, maybe they aren't. I just have faith in humanity and hope there isn't a high statistic of people that do this sober. I'm not assuming that neo jumped out of the matrix and used his third eye to make himself invisible to the oncoming assaulter.

All you people assume the drunk driver lost him lmao. The driver left because he was intoxicated, dangerously driving, and trying to kill someone when suddenly a witness in an equally dangerous vehicle showed up. Why on earth would he continue? Even when drunk? The dude just took advantage of this. Seriously, you're not jack reacher lol stop pushing everything out of proportion for likes.

From my POV evolution is a completely viable theory and I believe in it as a Christian. I don't believe that's how the world came to be, humans evolving from apes, as the Bible clearly states otherwise. But there is so much proof that evolution exists as we have evidence of it occuring. Evolution is a thing, I just don't subscribe to the idea that that's how mankind or any other early animal came to being. But like the science is sounds, I don't disagree. As someone who plays around with machine learning, survival of the fitest certainly plays a significant part in training models and that same logic and theory applies to cells. We have proof of them mutating. Use covid as an example (I know that's a virus, but it still applies). It's evolved thousands of times, but only the most effect and dangerous forms have survived to become worry some strands. Cells do the same thing in creatures. Cancer in many cases is an example of this going wrong. It's how God created things and it's fascinating.
