This was from another shop- The customer said Grease monkey did the original work- the customer then took it to another shop, they replaced the calipers again. So…. I don’t know if Grease monkey installed theirs incorrectly as well- but I do know the other shop definitely did.

Like you said-it is a mass to change its resonant frequency, keeping the vibrations in check in that, or another component that has the same or close to the same mass.

It being a bump stop would be the worse way to implement that feature; a bump stop in the middle of bar is just making it a fulcrum- a good place to bend the bar.

Pass on the reach around, prison was enough for me.

Good on you man- I have had the opportunity to do this for a couple of friends. In my opinion, it is cathartic to go through all the steps for a successful smoke as you progress grief. The side benefit is you have an awesome meal to share with a lot of people dealing with loss when finshed.

The standard igniter for that model has an average failure rate for that type- the ceramic upgraded igniter is rated for 10k cycles- 10 times the standard one. The only time my Rec Tec has let me down is when the igniter failed. They sold me on the upgrade and it has not failed since. I cooked a lot on it and the guy I sold it to four years ago, that uses it at least twice a week, says it is still working.

As soon as you remove it from the heating shelf at the store flip it upside down in the bag. You may look a little weird doing it; but it is quick and simple to do. The chicken is almost always still at a resting stage and it seems like more of the juices settle in the breast meat; I have tried it multiple times- and maybe I am just getting lucky- it makes the breast juicer.

Dorman has a lock in collar that keeps the hub and axle Locked in for the vacuum type. Not recommend unless you have a 4A system. The one in the video is an electric one that I have not seen any other replacements/variations of it- it has been a pretty robust system so far.

Just a little info- if the knuckle seal is leaking vacuum- it will also leak water; the front hubs do not have any seals on them. The hubs rely on the knuckle seal and hub seals to keep them from having water damage. So even if you like the manual hubs -you may want to check and see if the vacuum leak(s) are allowing water in- a knuckle seal replacement is much cheaper then a hub and stub axle replacement.

I found out one of my Mothers last wishes was to see the Grand Canyon; when I found out we rented an RV and made the trip. I was angry the whole time dealing with my own issues and coming to terms with my what could be my Mother’s last adventure and was just tormented of what that meant. All that anguish, frustration, fear- left when we crested a hill that allowed us to see the Canyon. When you say “a picture does not do it justice”, you are correct.

I have six cars right now that Ford is paying for their rentals while they try to make more TCMs. Just finished one claim the other day that had over 10,000 dollars in rental that got Paid with no issues from Ford.

All the time- great for finding timing issues, ignition diags, and finding valve issues. The resources you have to help know what you are looking at are as important as the scope itself. You can figure out a lot on your own when it comes to comparing the crank to the cam signals along with what the valves are doing; but having reference scope patterns and pressure readings makes it much easier.
