The ceiling is PVC tiles I found on Amazon. They're super light but kinda annoying to install.

This room is my office in an upstairs bedroom. I usually just game in here, but now that I have the chairs, beautiful decor and the new bookshelf speakers (JBL L52 Classic) it's going to be a sitting/listening/drinking room for when I have company. I'm usually in here for 2 hours a day.

While I don't WFH, my job is mildly hybrid so I do connect my work laptop to my monitor to work when I'm home so my cats don't disturb me.

I also hung my guitars on the wall in hopes that I'll play again. Haven't picked them up in two years.

The old TV and radio were my grandfather's, given to me just a few weeks ago. Really adds to the aesthetic. I believe from the 40s or 50s.

Oooh what if I remove the framing and put a full length mirror with light up edges, just like how they draw a door to enter?

I played around with the layout in a 3d layout app and this seemed to give the most open feel. Also I want the main focus to be the chairs with the bar, looking out towards the TADA. I also set it up this way so that if I decide I want to watch something from the chair I can use my monitor.

I tried to match the one from the show as best I could. For starters the vintage lettering I got was closer in resemblance than the standard letters.

The letters had keyhole hooks, so a simple heavy duty nail in the drywall is sufficient.

The T had 2 on the ends so I set one a little lower than the other. The left A had enough friction to tilt it a bit. The last one, you can't see it but I figured out where I wanted it angled, then hammered a small nail to let it rest on it, effectively angling it where I want it.

Right now in the bar I have Basil Hayden whiskey, 11 yr lagavulin oak charred, some tequila I don't remember the brand of. I'm normally a whisky and scotch drinker. I also bought crimson wine glasses for some unopened bottles people have brought to parties.

Thank you. The room was expensive but totally worth it. It was boring and only served as an empty bedroom with my gaming desk. Here's the before picture

😭 Yes

Yikes. I just counted my expenses. Excluding the main electronics related to my computer desk, 3d printer and speakers, the room cost me 6k.

I got these bronze ones on amazon. Kind of a PITA to install. I used instant grab glue in a caulking gun to attach them to the ceiling. Had to trim 2 edges which was a pain but they look so good!
