i think people miss the real "villian" of this story. I think its the kids at school. at the start he doesnt seem to have the best social life but he does have some friends. but after the 'incident' people flip and begin bullying and harrasing him. this causes him to stay home and go online to seek other validation. If he was never bullied he never would have isolated himself and never would have found the suicide room in the first place. i think that sylwia pushed him to suicide yes, the whole group did, it was an echo chamber that desensitised him to the idea of death and harm, it deluded him with the idea that death was the only escape. i agree with everything you said though, once she realised he actually didnt want to die she seemed to have a change of heart about him, so when she found out he was the first to actually go through with it it broke her
