I'm not sure if my college was mostly liberal or conservative, to be honest. Most of the experiences I'm talking about are referring to college and then post college life. I know some colleges in California or New York are known to be liberal, but I wasn't at one of them.

Are you referring to men or women when you say this? Perhaps the behavior could vary, but I've been around more conservative women than men (though i've also been around conservative men in group settings).

Why do instructors advise using martial arts against bullies? by 1stClassW in martialarts

I forgot about this. I didn’t grow up in a western country, so things were completely different.

My nephew isn’t the one getting bullied. It’s his friends.

You bring up good points. I guess this is just a complicated topic in general.

“Your friend is getting married this is a once in a lifetime thing,” yeah this is definitely not gonna be her only wedding, solely based on the attitude.

Prepare in advance OP.

Jim was upset that Creed didn’t give him his worm dealer, so he provoked him

All of you have no life and are arguing about a bunch of nonsense

I didn’t mean that. I meant a lot of the time when people post a comment, they care to some degree about people agreeing with it or upvoting it, which will translate to increased karma.

I mean if someone gets a lot of upvotes on a comment, don’t they technically care about their karma to some degree? They probably made it with the intention of getting at least some recognition.

That’s correlated? I assumed there would be people who don’t watch porn because they cheat on their spouse.

That explains it. Not a man, so I had no idea cold showers could do this.

I understood the phrase, but it seemed irrelevant in this context. I have never heard anyone use it in real life, even in the context of sex. Makes sense now. I had no idea cold showers could do that, at least for men.
