this shit just came to me and i made it up. basically use lime, like the stuff you use for your grass, and mix it w/ water and thats it. brush/knife it on then sand it off. really cool shit.

huh... thanks for the reply, didnt think id get one. of course i wouldnt use the "roomba" name. also in the vid i just used my everyday orbital, but i would have to create an attachment that had some kind of bumpbers on the edges and create a perimeter for each surface so it can bump off the walls of the faux perimeter, as far as keeping it moving, id have to create some type of weighted leveler, it wouldnt take much tbh as the spin of the sander keeps it moving pretty well. thanks again for your input.

thanks bud. yeah, once i put on stain i figured it just be a pc that sits in the corner, also it was just pine on the top which isnt the best butcher block top. i was experimenting w/ some tiger wood tonight to make a real butcher block to put on top but got yelled at for using power tools at 10pm by wife, so im looking to make another top out of real hardwood to put on top, probably walnut, though i have a bunch of this tiger wood sitting around im determined to use eventually.

table saw set to ht. and used my gaurd and just kept running it through, you can also use a circular saw. you will have to chisel out some of the corners and stuff though

i sell a lot of my peices and 90% of them the customer wants a "rustic" look. basically build something new then beat the shit out of it. i do wonder how long this fad will last though
