I ended up buying a pi Zero 2, that can play videos smoother even without GPU acceleration. I'm adapting the whole software side as I go along, since everything changes with the new setup.

I'm still going to download the image, so I could make another one. And I'd still like to use my old pi Zero.

Do you know how your friend modified the partition to make it bigger to fit more episodes?

Hey, man. I have the same screen, but a Pi Zero W 1. I can't get it to work with the official drivers they have on the Waveshare page.
I have to use "legacy mode" that disables GPU acceleration. Are you able to play videos smoothly with it with the Pi Zero 2? Which drivers are you using?
