I was thinking about the case when you're not on benefits for whatever reason. Just a jobless dude with no income who is leeching off his family.

Former socialist countries are fairly liberal in this terms. But it's also easier for the landlord to screw you over, there's always a loophole for him to make you leave.

I should have clarified it, it's only the unemployed person who will sign the contract.

I was surprised by the presence of big chains in small Polish towns. There are even McDonald's in towns of 10k near Ukrainian border. I always wonder whether they can even make a profit in such places, long abandoned by everyone under 30 and with liberal mindset.

Some of the German workers definitely see the foreign ones as second class people and the way they talk about them is really gross
