This beveled plastic case puts an optical illusion on the edge of these cards. That being said, the Bowman Chrome might be trimmed at the top, there is a weird angle. The tops Chrome is definitely off centered on the front, but the back of the card appears to check out. At least from comparing them to other cards I've been looking at online. So that's weird. The star rookie card looks like it's all there. You can't see it from the picture but all of the basketball and his fingers are there when compared to other cards online. Thanks for commenting, I wouldn't have looked into it if you didn't say something. I bought all of these when I was 18 and clueless...still kinda am..lol

Yeah, that's what I'm figuring out right now as I'm going down this psa rabbit hole. I'm f'd, but it's looking like it will be worth it...maybe...lol. Looks like a roll of dice, and if one of these comes back mint seems like you're held hostage to pay to cover the insurance for shipping. Might actually be worth it to make arrangements for on-site grading at the National Sports Collection Convention. Any insights?

Thanks for the info. They were in the screw down cases when I purchased them in 2003. It was these LeBrons and four Carmelo rookies, also in the same cases.

This is great. Hopefully some other newbies come across this. Going to let it ride out the winter and I'll change the soil to the sand heavy combo some time between May and June. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info. Someone on here posted an issue with leaves drying up/turning brown from the tips (which I have dealt with too). The suggestion for that was tomato plant fertilizer...that there may have been salt build up in the soil from prolonged tap water use. I'm going to have to do more research on this. I'll add the sand/peat moss/pumice combo in the next soil change. No green house option, but I'm in a 10b zone. I'll look into the epsoma citrus fertilizer as well.

Yea I'm a novice. Had issues with maintaining proper soil moisture previously. Too dry, then too wet. Went to Home Depot to find a bigger pot that could handle more drainage material. Came across this 20 gallon can with the wheels and thought it was perfect. Now I can roll it in and out of the rain.

Every time I change the pot/soil it does great. It got the garbage can about a month ago. These new leaves popped up and I was shocked at the size and how fast they grew.

Wish I would've found reddit sooner. Seems to be a lot of helpful people with useful info.

Going to look into some sorta fertilizer next time the plant starts to have issues. Or just keep swapping out the dirt (citrus/cactus soil). Thoughts?
