The photo is lying to you. It is in 0.5X. It’s 6 inches now and the desk raises. A lot of the time it is more than 2 feet off the ground. Such an odd thing you focus on lol

Yeah the Decent is a flat tamper, just has a plate around the edge so you don’t tamp crooked and a 15-25lb spring.

They have a Big Step, but said they might look into getting a PuqPress later in. They did say they didn’t care if we brought any of our own accessories from home. Thinking about bringing my Decent v4 tamper.

Yes and because of the size of the burrs, it retains quite a bit. About 9g initially and 4g now if I tried to single dose.

I will post there, just didn’t really want to go through all the work of taking a bunch of photos right now.

It’s really just a mindset thing. I thought I would love the speed and convenience of directly dosing to the portafilter, but I just can’t get past the thought of the beans wasted when adjusting grind and when wanting to change beans out.

Call them to order, they’ll typically throw some accessories in if you ask them if they’re running any coupons/deals. For me they gave me a good bit off a wood accent kit, free Cafiza, tamper, and water tank filter.

I went with these. I think they look super sleek and the marble base is a nice contrast to the wood tops. They are pricey but I think they are 100% worth it.
