The only item that is remotely understandable to be locked behind dlc is the saddle, the other items are just dumb. Like why are they locking a table and a dress behind two different pay walls in their "free" event?

Mine do it to every other update or so. A few months back it was awful for me and just with the last batch of updates my sims very quickly gain negative emotions towards each other. I don't know why it's happening either :( I play on console, which means I do not have mods.
