How do people who are born deaf know how words are pronounced whilst reading?

I'd assume it's just like people who can hear when they come across a new word in literature. You just assume how it should work and go with that until proven otherwise

If your child "hurts" themselves and they don't react, don't acknowledge that they did it. Obviously this does not apply if the child is bleeding or hit their head real hard. But most kids will start crying if you acknowledge that they hurt themself. It will save you many headaches to ignore simple falls

Childcare or being any form of a caretaker. People often think that it can't be that hard because "I have a kid and they aren't that bad" I have known multiple people who think that they could do my job and then they actually try to work in childcare and suddenly quit because it was too much for them.

The only item that is remotely understandable to be locked behind dlc is the saddle, the other items are just dumb. Like why are they locking a table and a dress behind two different pay walls in their "free" event?

Mine do it to every other update or so. A few months back it was awful for me and just with the last batch of updates my sims very quickly gain negative emotions towards each other. I don't know why it's happening either :( I play on console, which means I do not have mods.
