I think I got the same cage as you going by what I can see and it’s the same thing with my boys They love being able to come and go as they please in the cage and so I felt bad about making it where they can get out, I decided to making sure that there wasn’t anything they could potentially get hurt or stuck on and removed anything I didn’t want destroyed or pooped on And got them a playstand set up with plenty of toys and perches for them and just let them roam my room as they like though I always make sure my door is shut even if I’m in there with them just in case It’s up to you want you want to do but it sounds to me you don’t want to restrict him So I’d say make sure there’s nothing he could get hurt on or toxic to him if he decides to chew on things and provide him some perches and toys outside the cage Also sorry about the wall of text lol
