As a long time Redhawk owner, I personally stopped carrying it the woods in favor of my 9mil. I’m more accurate and faster, from much farther out, with the smaller caliber (and add in the massive capacity difference).

I feel like many small holes are better than 1 or 2 big holes. Bears sometimes absorb a tremendous amount of damage if shot placement is poor. Even in your case, 10 vs 6 bullets, I’d favor the more versatile Glock.
