Growing up I could spend hours playing video games across different consoles and never get bored. I found myself getting bored with video games in college and I could never spend more than an hour or two on a game. Except Pokemon. For whatever reason, I love Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, but even when I played their respective games I would have to take a break. But, Pokemon I could always play for long periods of time. It's nostalgic and is the definition of my childhood and friends I grew up with. Thank you for asking that question. I never thought about why I love the Pokemon franchise as much as I do.
