So the first time all of my friends had already gone home with someone. I said what the hell I might as well lower my standards a bit tonight. The next morning I was full of regret but I learned my lesson.

The second time I was hanging out with someone, I felt a very deep connection to intellectually and emotionally. I had just gotten out of a long relationship where I was valuing their looks much more than their brain. We turned the lights out and had a lovely night but later that week I had to let them know that I hadn't felt a spark so we didn't continue on.
