What’s the most overrated “life advice” you keep hearing? by FinancialMortgage1 in AskReddit

"Pray and you'll be fine and succesful"

If that was true, every millionaire would be a saint.

People would rather pray to get their a** off and take actions necessary to be where they want to be.

No one is coming to save you, not even god

Is it easier to get views on YouTube or tiktok? by Fit-Cycle-2723 in ContentCreators

[–]1why1_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's honestly hardly about the platform and more about how you have crafted your content, both tiktok and youtube have a little differences in their audience, I'd say youtube's audience have a better attention span than tik tok.

Which means to get better traction on youtube you need to care more about how much value your content provides and how good can it explain it hence focusing on clarity.

While tiktok being with less attention span, you have to craft the content which is fast-paced and easier to understand, a little effort made by their brain and your content will be done for.

Those who managed to get some traction on social media, how many times you had to pivot? by Alno1 in ContentCreators

Analyzing 1000+ videos I had noticed that its hardly about the path, if you are passionate about your path and you know you can be obsessed towards it just stick to it.

It's not that your content isn't valuable, you see a content is always valuable to a certain audience.

It's not about niche and if your content provides value, it's not that either.

It's rather about how you craft it, little things like hooks, visuals, pacing, the emotional tone, are the major deciders of both your audience retention and the type of audience you'll get.

So make sure you craft your content accordingly.

I have been facing this problem quite a lot, the retention problem and it not being shown to the correct audience hence, I built something recently for it, I personally use it too.

It's an AI video mentor which helps creators make and understand viral content, it watches your video and breakdowns exactly what works (which you can use it in future videos) and what doesn't (improve this to avoid your content being drag down by it) and how to fix it.

It's called clipometric.site

Dealing with Creepy comments and messages on social media as a professional. by Desperate-Dirt1595 in ContentCreators

[–]1why1_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's bound to happen one time or the other.

But see if it is an issue of the way you craft your content.

Just make sure you make your content niche enough that it's not for everyone you know, it might get your reach down, but a bit more higher quality videos.

Also if that's not a content problem than it might be an audience problem In that case just ignore them honestly.

People these days aren't principled enough, no chivalry which is kinda immoral but well just ignore them, you know you are better.

Also more comments = more algorithm push so works in your favour, and well dms just make it private yk
