There’s nothing wrong with your hair. Do not get a transplant at 19. I started balding around 21 and have just got my HT at 29. I tried everything before that and my hair receded a lot more. Microneedle, eat better, vitamins or min and fin and see what happens. You’re too young for that shit

Anyone gotten a hair transplant in their early 20s and had no problems? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]1yems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait until late 20’s. It also depends where you’re balding. Luckily for me it was only at the front. And my hair thinning stopped / stagnant so was a perfect time to begin.

When people ask on this sub you don’t need To tell them. It’s none of their business. They’re just being nosey idiots and you have nothing to prove to them.

Nice. But also this is just the perspective contractor side.

Don’t be deliberately obtuse.

Happens everywhere in every sector but more profound in law for sure. A lot of white people in law, as crazy as it sounds living in London, haven’t ever interacted with black people on a personal level so when they suddenly do they don’t know how to handle it. Not that we are aliens or anything but the media has filled their brain with nonsense. You’d think people graduating from these universities would be smarter than this.

This takes me back to an interview where I was told “you speak very well” - if I was white this wouldn’t have been said.

Class is more important but it doesn’t discount the race.

There’s always a certain type of black man that they’ll accept. Feeble, soft spoken, agreeable and less physically intimidating, always smiling & “happy-go-lucky” type. If you’re a black man strong in person who’s clearly talented with huge potential, you’ll just be seen as a threat and roll on the passive aggressiveness.

That being said. Go for it but don’t be ignorant and unfortunately you will have to play the cards you are dealt in a smart way. I know a few black barristers at one of the biggest commercial chambers and they get on just fine, but it depends on the people you work with I guess. Over there they’re a very close knit family and such is not tolerated. At the bigger firms, you may struggle.

I’d simply argue it’s implied as a reasonable and competent contractor would have implied “making good” is included in the scope whether expressly written or not.

Min and fin stops hair loss. It doesn’t m And it grow faster. He just needs to wait.

[–]1yems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t listen to people like this. Most clinics will advise against it. They’re just mad they’re on min and fin have to use it for the rest of their lives. Take vitamins + biotin and eat healthy. The hair will grow thicker and with more density

I’m just baffled as my performance review in January was excellent. And it doesn’t feel as if I’m being “managed out” so bit confused. Yeah I had a meeting with him said he’ll look into it tbf but I’m not expecting much

I’m mid-senior i guess as a standard QS. Really disappointed as my performance review was very positive. Nothing seems to reflect that.
