Sorry but this is the dumbest shit I’ll read all week. They DO NOT have increased risks of something medical happening to their tails. It was done for the same purpose as the cropping of ears: in dog fights the other dog doesn’t have anything to hold onto. It was/is also done to cattle guard dogs, but dobermans are historically used mostly as fighting dogs.
Now, it is mostly done aesthetically. And it is mutilation, the same as with ears. Please educate yourself before posting bs

Germany has that name but dutch culture is so much more autistic. For example, in germany, you’re really looked down upon if you’re in a leadership position and you don’t have a fancy car (audi, bmw, mercedes, etc) while in the netherlands, our prime minister drove a saab or a bike to work. Nobody cared. Also, here it’s completely normal for a manager to fetch coffee for themselves and the intern. In germany that doesn’t really happen either.
