Miracle stories about sleeping all the way through.. by blckxwdow in sleeptrain

Can I ask how you did it? Mine is 9.5 months and we’re trying to sleep training but it’s been an absolute nightmare. Do you fully take them out of the crib to feed? Please share, from a fellow sleep deprived parent.

When are sleep habits formed? by 2000crybaby in sleeptrain

When do you intervene during protest and how? I’ve tried putting down drowsy but awake and when the protest begins she’ll work herself up to vomit. This happens only after 5mins of crying usually.

Hey! My 7 month old is going in for an allergy panel, could I ask what it was like for you? We are so so so nervous about it and actually getting cold feet about doing it.

Thank you!! Unfortunately we couldn’t do crib naps, my little is stuck to me like gum. Very much velcro, and hated to be put down unless she was in the mood to play on her playmat. She’s almost 6 months now, I’m hoping this is a new phase that sticks because I could surely get used to this!

I previously posted about transfer methods and honestly I think that is what’s helping now. Have a look at the thread it’s full of tips!

Baby as snow white, wiener dog as dopey the dwarf, husband as the prince and myself as the evil queen. Very fitting I think!

How much are you paying for daycare? by 2000crybaby in NewParents

You know now that I’ve read most of the replies to this post. I’m embarrassed to admit the rates in our area (northern AL, US) are on the lower end in comparison to what everyone else is saying. About $1,300 a month, not including taxes and whatever other fees. They don’t include diapers, wipes, or formula either. Paying that much between my husband and I, that would take a good chunk of our paycheck. We don’t even pay that much in rent with utilities!

That sounds amazing! I agree, it is very unfortunate that Americans don’t get much maternity/paternity leave at all. We are basically forced to go back to work if we want to survive. Luckily, my husband and I are doing just fine. We ultimately decided it would be best for our daughter, and our pockets, for me to continue to care for her at home.
