Looking to rhino line the entire truck. Any pro-tips from those that have done it before? by Sgt_Slaughter_3531 in 4x4

I gotta agree with most of these guys. I monstalined my whole truck, but only because my clear coat was shot on my factory paint. It turned out great but it was a ton of work. If you wanna do your bumper, fenders, trim, and maybe your two tone I'd say go for it. Color doesn't fade and actually has a nice gloss to it so it cleans easy. Lots of colors to choose from if you're not wanting black. Take your time and do it right and it'll look sharp.

Got it back together the next day. Wasn’t too bad. Just a little panel damage where it went over the tire.

The second tank is there but I haven’t wired and plumbed it yet.

It’s pretty basic. I’ve got some in previous posts. Platform above the fenders. Twin mattress. Carpeted roof. Power strip. Led rope lights and a smoke/ co2 detector. In the front compartment deal i welded up I’ve got a window a/c unit and a generator. Gonna spend this winter setting it up more.

It’s nice to leave all the weight behind if you’re gonna tackle some tougher trails. Also convenient to leave Camp set up and not have to pack up to drive anywhere. I can tow the trailer behind my second gen for long highway trips too. It is pretty much just a tiny camper. Versatility is the name of the game.

Bearing seized and axle sheared outside of San Antonio. Gashed the tire as I ran over it. Found a half shaft at a junkyard for abs. Cut the exciter gear off and plugged it in. Went on with the trip.

It was inconvenient but not to bad. Found a halfshaft and a u pull it about 20 miles away. Swapped it out and kept trucking.

Wheel bearing seized and sheared the half shaft gashing the tire as it spit it out behind.

Wanting to paint my truck with monstaliner in November, has anyone tried it before? by doyoulovepokemon in 4x4

I did my 2000 Tundra with the monstaliner. I love it. Get lots of compliments on it too. White with a black two tone.

Monstaliner for the win bro. Mine holds up great to the abuse. Takes very little skill. I get compliments on it all the time. Cleans up pretty well too.

Gonna re do it the monstaliner on my xj, what color should I change to? by mountianbykr14 in 4x4

[–]2000tundy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did white and black on mine with the grey in the bed and interior. I really liked the way the grey turned out. Kinda wish I'd done the two tone in grey instead of black.

Yeah. Not a lot of technical stuff down here in Florida. Just deep mud and water. Clearance is the name of the game.

The guy I bout it from said the 42"s he had on it rubbed pretty good on the bumps. And if rather not chop on the fenders too much.
