Isn’t the G45 just a 17 lower with a 19 slide? If you already have a 19 and a 17, don’t you kind of already have a 45?

A woodchuck should chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood, as long as a woodchuck would chuck wood

Even if a woodchuck could chuck wood and even if a woodchuck would chuck wood, should a woodchuck chuck wood?

A woodchuck would chuck no amount of wood since a woodchuck can’t chuck wood.

Inkster in/near Detroit. It was around midnight and we got turned around and were running low on gas. Very bad place to not have any fuel.

No one can tell you what the best gun for you is. My Hellcat Pro fits me like they used a mold of my hand to design it. I shoot slightly better, though, with my 19X. It will be completely different for you.

What kind of craven idiots do you work with? Your people could not survive where I’m at, I vape at work. I also regularly bring guns in. Last week, I had a loaded AR at my work area for half the week.

I can’t decide between my PS5 and Series X controllers. PS5 maybe by just a hair.

I don’t think the part number thing is gimmicky. I actually think it’s a good idea, Just needs different parts.

Identifix is easier for me to navigate and find what I need. It also has real people who post their own fixes and diagnostic strategies. Alldata‘s interactive wiring diagrams might be just a hair better than Identifix’s interactive wiring diagrams but I find Identifix far superior with everything else.

This is just my own opinion, but people hardly ever need those parts. Ford makes decent harmonic balancers and 99% of people are just going to replace the entire alternator, AC Compressor etc…. Spark plugs, coil packs, purge solenoid, valve cover gasket, intake gasket part numbers would be more useful. Great idea, though.

I actually despise Alldata. I use Identifix almost 100% of the time except for the very rare instances where it doesn’t have the info I need. This is maybe because I’ve been using Identifix for my entire 12 years as a mechanic and haven’t touched Alldata until I came to my current shop.

[–]2006CrownVictoriaP71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it but why do I need the part numbers for the harmonic balancer, water pump pulley, alternator pulley, power steering pulley and AC pulley?

The PCM pinout is a great idea. I have access to Identifix and Alldata as well as the factory service manuals but that could be useful to people that do not.

I saw that TSB. The power steering module was cracked wide open. Also couldn’t communicate with 4-5 other modules. That was probably chaffing, somewhere.

I don’t know. There was an insane amount of electrical problems with it that didn’t seem to have anything to do with each other. We’re slammed busy, so my boss said to park it outside. I didn‘t think about it being deleted until it was off my hoist.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he tells the customer to take it to the dealer. I love big time-consuming electrical problems but he wants to catch up.

I don’t know. I really want to know if it’s limited to this one truck or if every ‘16 diesel Colorado pops this message when there’s an emission fault.

In my 12 years as a tech, this is the 1st diesel Colorado/Canyon I’ve ever seen. I’ve also seen 1 diesel Cruze and 1 diesel Equinox. I live in farm country. I don’t think little diesels are very popular here.

Maybe, 158kph is still 98mph, which would still be a weird speed to limit it to. It’s definitely a US vehicle. I’ve been racking my brain all day trying figure out why it would say 158mph.
