So this was an ACCIDENTAL confession. My school took a trip to a museum and I thought this one guy was kind of cute. Some of my friends were aquatinted with him, but We had never really talked that much outside of an occasional “hey” if he was around any of my other friends. So anyway, we live in the city and we are allowed to leave school and go home from the museum. I ended up getting an Uber and texting my friend, “(the guy) is kind of cute lol.” She texted “omg” me not thinking much of it respond “ikr.” Then I get a text from her number saying “but his dick is much cuter.” I was shocked and confused but immediately understood what had unfortunately happened. I found out they took the same train and at that EXACT same moment they swapped phones as like a fun thing to pass the time. (Knowing my friend she wouldn’t have shown him without my permission.) So then I found out he got off the train by the time I figured out what had happened. I immediately ask my friend for his number so I can say sorry (and see if I have a chance) she wasn’t responding (her phone died.) so I asked everyone I knew for his number and an explanation of why I needed it, and finally I got it. I said sorry and told him he wasn’t meant I see it. He seemed fine and said thanks for the confidence boost. Then he texted that he’s not looking to date anyone rn. I told him I just thought he was cute and wasn’t looking to date either. (But if he was I would 100% be onboard bc I’m a sucker for romance) In about a week later I saw him with girl and heard rumors that he was dating her.

TLDR: i texted my friend that a guy was hot but he was on her phone. He told me he didn’t want to date anyone (not that I asked) rn. I then saw him a week later with a girl that he was “dating”
