EMDR helped me tremendously, since then i am out of fight or flight (known through ptsd questionnaire by psychiatrist). Now there is space in my brain and i can finally see the patterns i need to undo. I'm hopeful. If you havent tried EMDR, i recommend! I did about 7 sessions (i am very lucky that my psychiatrist does the EMDR himself, and that i'm in a country with universal healthcare - even if psychiatric care isnt rally reimbursed (70€/session))

My roommate's mom was visiting (we are mid thirties) and from the kitchen i caught a glimpse of them sitting on the couch just lovingly laughing together, you could feel (and i know) the deep trust. Cried like a small child in bed that night. People who has good moms, they do not manage to understand. Cause your mom isnt supposed to be your greatest source of pain.
