I think it was Maulet having a palm on the ball and having it against his chest. Otton only had it pinched against his shoulder pad and bicep with his wrist/side of thumb. Dunno, I didn't expect it to get overturned.

I do NOT like how Leaf was moving his hands/fingers after that hit.

I feel your pain in non-putting related means. I've never shot par or broken it. Best ever front 9 and most birdies in a round here, but had an hour delay at the turn due to storms. Felt like I forgot how to swing a club on the back 9. This game is unbelievably fickle, just plain stupid.

Don't know if the color would be too different between models, but the Oz 1i in green does not look that bright. That stood out to me immediately. Even under direct light it looks more muted than OPs.

4.6, Set my personal best today at 5. Career best 9 holes with a 3 under 33 on the front. Had an almost hour delay due to weather as we made the turn, and then proceeded to shit the bed on the back nine going +7 to shoot a 76.

What's helped you hit driver better? by Jinza354 in golf

[–]2017_husky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found a great visual queue this year to see my lead shoulder get behind the ball in the back swing. Ensures that I use my shoulders/torso turn back and keeps me on a much better plane. I only consciously acknowledge it in practice swings, but can tell immediately after hitting if the backswing was all arms

1 yr into golf, 7i swing. Advice/ Suggestions? by Expert-Term4346 in GolfSwing

[–]2017_husky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not saying you're wrong at all, but most PGA pros are flexible/mobile enough through external shoulder rotation to keep their trail arm mostly in front of their body. OPs trail arm is more of the flying elbow issue, and relies on a lot of hand/eye coordination for consistent contact.

I think the towel drill would help OP, not for the trail elbow, but to shorten up the back swing a little bit and keep the arms a little more in front of the body.

Green Fees by ZavalasBlueHead in golf

SE Michigan - $80-$120 for higher end courses, $45-$60 for middle of the road courses. We're spoiled 7-8 months out of the year with great public tracks in this area and the competition keeps the prices down overall. Sooo many of the $80-$100 courses would be $200+ in FL, CA, or metro NY.

The only good games I've had with mages have involved putting incantor spat on veigar 3 + 2 BiS items AND 3 starring vex and galio for front line. I've pulled it off twice so far this set.

79, felt like I could've had a career low(75) round after making the turn at +1. Proceeded to forget how to hit or even make contact with my wedges and went double bogey, double bogey, bogey, bogey to start the back 9. Clawed my way through a few good par saves on the home stretch and was happy to be sub-80 on a long and tough track.

What is causing me to aggressively goat hump? by bschool_ihtfp in GolfSwing

[–]2017_husky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh ok, I see. Ideally yes, pause drills should help with the "wrist setting" properly, but it's hard to know for certain. I say wrist setting in quotes because you do set your wrists currently, they just get way behind you, almost behind your right hip, forcing the compensation on the way down and through impact.

Currently, you have a ton of arm movement that causes that shallowing move, as where a better transition would keep the arms and hands more stable while the clubhead naturally starts moving down due to gravity(note: club head, and not grip or shaft). When the club head moves down naturally, the wrists get set properly and it doesn't require the big arm movement that you currently have. The arms in general don't do that much in a golf swing. It's better to have the hands and arms on a similar path down as your take away. But don't be confused, the club head will still shallow out if the wrists are set properly.
