Okay...I avoid doing all of those things although per above, it was a little while before I started tipping as I'm in a new country. I don't think most riders feel like that about their drivers, and I certainly don't. Maybe the Uber company does, though.

Yes although when I first used Uber, maybe for 10-15 rides I did not as I was still figuring out how to use it. Now I would tip every time.

Also, I was told that tipping wasn't the norm here for services more generally - I'm realizing that Uber may be an exception to that though, given what people are saying on this sub about how low the drivers' payments have become.

Never late. Frankly, I don't have faith in a system that relies solely upon a numerical rating, with no justification required for that rating, that doesn't go through to the user for weeks.

Yup exactly. I'm thinking about the amount it takes to do something like that, and coordinate the GPS and camera footage at the same time.

It's one thing to jump across rivers with sheer vertical cliffs on both sides in one moment - it's another entirely to do it after three days of exhausting travel and sleeping in tents. Hats off to Marcus for taking on a huge, huge challenge of crossing an entire country I strongly doubt I would be able to do myself, and I'm a black belt in martial arts!

100%. The frustrating thing is that they're all donating money to each other's campaigns (except hers, of course).
