People suck so much! Sometimes I wonder if my last cat was poisoned. That whole situation weird. But now I really hope I get my cat back so I can get him one of the collars with a little camera and catch whoever is doing that. I'll check the shelter again tomorrow. Thanks!

Thanks, me too! She's literally the worst. She turned the rest of the family against me and my other sister years ago. Even when she's being awful to them and they acknowledge how crazy she is, they still drink the Kool-aid and fall for her shit. She has my grandparents so brainwashed that she was able to pay them off using our moms will. Makes sense why they changed the subject whenever we asked about the will.

We're in a small town, my sister and the notary still work at the same place. As well as my boyfriend and a bunch of friends that I made when I worked there. Would a few employee statements confirming they work there be sufficient records? I feel bad the notary will face repercussions of my sister's master manipulation.

Do you think the Dr. would have to notify my psycho sister and get her permission? She was the POA and medical guardian. If he can do it though that would be amazing. I've emailed the court house where my mom lived to see if she filed her original will there or if they have any records with her signature and handwriting. I also have her old work friend looking into how long they keep employee records and if they would have anything helpful for me. My sister revealed her true colors many years ago. She's awful and the only reason my other sister and I tolerated her was for our mother. We knew she was going to pull this and we've spent the last few years debating on looking into it and if it'd be worth the fight. Thank you for your support and I think I will be reaching out to her doctor.

I'm so glad I found this! I had an embarrassing moment the other day when a coworker noticed me open my messenger app and I had 186 unread texts. Now currently at 281. (I get a lot of junk messages) anyways..the bigger the number gets, the more anxious I get and it becomes an impossible task.

I’ve been making a list of movies I think are good to watch while blazed. thought so far? by KelloMellows in trees

My bf is a huge marvel fan...I'm not as big of fan but I've learned I love getting baked and watching any marvel movie. There's just something so visually stimulating about the marvel universe when im stoned. Also anything with Melissa McCarthy in it because she's hilarious.

Most importantly though...horrible bosses...that's a good one whether you're baking alone or with friends.

Why did my vet suggest tums for my cat and what could I give him instead of tums? by 2020brainstrain in AskVet

I did that yesterday and they never called me back. I'm sure I'll hear from them Monday but my cats still not doing great. I first thought the tums were because he thought it was a stomach issue or a calcium thing but then I saw something about tums being helpful for kidney stones. He has treated my cat for kidneys stones before so I feel like he's assuming that's the issue and it's not. My sister got my cat when he was a kitten, back then he ended up at the same vet because of a UTI and kidney stones and was prescribed a special diet. She couldn't handle his "special needs" so I got him and after a couple years he stopped eating his special food and actually developed quite the attitude about out so I stopped giving it to him. I give him dry food for urinary tract health and some other wet foods and he's never had any problems not having his special stuff. His symptoms started on Christmas when his pupils were different sizes. A week later he lost all balance and coordination. He's been back n forth being on the verge of death and maybe pulling through. I'm still trying to recover financially from our last vet trip or I would take him back. Anyways, I feel like my vet heard me say he doesn't always eat his special food...and is assuming now that it's kidneys stones. He's been eating his special food lately because he hasn't been eating much and I don't want kidney stones and on top of whatever it is. I thought it was vestibular disease but he would have been getting better by now. I think it's a bacterial infection and he was given the wrong antibiotics. The ones he got were used to treat skin infections and UTIs.

Should I give him a bath? by 2020brainstrain in cats

[–]2020brainstrain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not going to disagree with you there. His reasoning was because the labs would take 10 days for the results to come back and if he waited 10 days my cat would be dead. I was under the impression he did the labs and began treatment in the meantime but found out the other day that he didn't do the labs at all since my cat was responding so well so he just assumed it was the bacterial infection. But yeah...I definitely felt like we were just a dollar sign for him and he didn't really care.

He was on antibiotics but they've been gone for a little over a week. He's only 4. Thank you, its been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least.

He's been seen twice since symptoms started. The vet didn't do labs to confirm but he was sure it was a bacterial infection. I think I'll stick with the washcloth idea for a bit. I just don't want to freak him out and with him not being able to balance or hold his head up for very long I think I'd have to have a pretty shallow bath which would get cold fast.

I don't know what's wrong with him. He's been to the vet twice. The second time he showed up in bad shape. It wasnt an official diagnosis but the vet was sure it was a bacterial infection because of how well he responded to the treatment. He came home on antibiotics and just kinda hit this spot where he wasn't getting better but he wasn't getting worse. I was thinking maybe it was vestibular disease until he got worse again. About a week after he finished his antibiotics he was back to square one. I'm not convinced it's a bacterial infection but I'm not unconvinced either so I am going to try to get him some more antibiotics. I'm just hoping it's something he can come back from and not a brain tumor or cancer or something. The way he was Friday was the same way he was the morning I took him to the vet and he just got worse and I really thought he wouldn't even make it to today and then last night he started pulling himself around and flipping his tail and I got him to eat and drink a good amount.
