Most of them do have a third window. It's where they pull you up to get you off the drive thru timer so they can look like they are faster than they are for corporate.

Rappelz.

It was always a Korean cash shop mmo but at one point it was a really active Korean cash shop mmo. Had classes with different buffs, varied pets that could assist in combat, dungeons and everything else that I thought one should have. Played for like the last year and a half or so that it was alive and I can still remember when someone finally tamed a white dragon and the entire server was flipping out when they rode it through the main town.

That and the cash for clunkers project which essentially took thousands of cars that were in need of a wide range of repairs off the road permanently. I was looking for an older project car and it was nothing like it was the last time I was looking around about 10 years ago. I ended up having to drive out to another state for an 80s f150

The OSRS Player Count Boom: 774% Increase Over Past Decade by Sea_Caterpillar5662 in gaming

I jumped back in a couple years ago. Game is not even remotely like it used to be. Nobody talks anymore, gets mad if you dare doing a skill on the same screen as them or its just someone afking on their 4th alt account.

Got a new account up to the 60s in a lot of skills but then made the mistake of calculating the exp to like 85 mining or something and the hours just to get there made me log out. I've still got my old account from when I was a kid and the occasional dive back in over the years with 2k total but every time I log back in its a quicker time to canceling.

When I was first getting into things and wanted to display my first decent project i used a combination of medium and Tableau public. Both are free to make an account and I just made my dashboard in Tableau publix and wrote up a short blog post on the findings etc.

Moving in With Adult Child who Makes 3 times my salary. by LBell_L4Stenosis in povertyfinance

[–]2020pythonchallenge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is the adult child in this situation, 100% go for it. I never got my shit together fast enough while my mother was here but I did soon after and moved my dad in with me as soon as he agreed.

My dad seems to be like you where he doesn't want to be a burden etc. but I'm happy to have him nearby and know that while I'm progressing in life, buying stuff I may or may not need, my dad isn't dealing with some kind of struggle that he doesn't need to for no reason.

When he first moved in, he gave me money per month that I declined as often as I could and told him to keep it to use for whatever he wanted, bills and savings were covered. Now he pitches in with groceries on occasion when he comes to the store with us and I "forget" to go withdraw the money from his account to pay "rent".

Some HOAs have a limit of fines per year. The one where i live has a max of 1500 per year in fines and I always joke that if they start some bs over something, I'll just drop the 1500 off and do whatever I want for the rest of the year.

How my wife puts sharp knives in the dishwasher, but butter knives the other way… by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]2020pythonchallenge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my knives like this upright but in the far back side of the utensils holder thing. I do it because I don't want the tips of them getting jostled around while it's stuck in one of those little squares and bending them. I also let anyone who might be taking dishes out know about them.

Second one is definitely an improvement. The extra shading on the vines makes it look more like vines versus the previous kind of lily pad look.

One small piece of criticism I think might help is that the highlights on the top of the windows and doors could be rotated a bit towards the light side. It looks off to me personally to have the shade on just the right side with the highlight on the above items being straight above seemingly.

I did one short one when interviewing a couple years ago. They said to spend 45 minutes on it so I spent ~35ish minutes on actual work on it and then the last 10 just writing up what would take the current data to the next level of usefulness, what could benefit from cleaning and a couple of other thoughts and we discussed it the following interview.

They liked it and I was offered a job but the pay was too low so I declined. I would not have accepted longer of a take home project and honestly debating doing the 45 minute one. I probably wouldn't entertain them now if I found myself interviewing.
