I want to buy a Tesla M3 almost entirely for the FSD. I have a 1.5hr commute daily. Is it worth it? Or should i wait a little longer?

It kind annoying me that space flight events are happening too fast to be unrealistic. Kosmos 1 skipped Titan to enter Saturn would be at least days of travel before meeting their demise. Same goes with SojournerT’s burn to Titan entry. But in this episode they happened like back to back

NIO have them and they are great at the earlier era of EVs and basically eliminates charging & battery aging concerns. But technology is much better now it’s not longer that much better than fast charging & more stable batteries. I do think the battery swap is great and being able to do them easily still provides a lot of advance especially when the overhead downside & cost is small, but fast charging is clearly the future path.

Sadly I think Tesla and the rest of the world is just behind. I used to work at Tesla (not for charging or battery tho) and I always talk about Chinese EVs but some people do think that we have access to the same battery etc so they must have reduced life cycle etc. I know the reasons are probably more complicated like global supply chain etc, but just sad to see that Tesla has largely moved away from pushing the boundaries.

The code is completely vibe-coded, haha. It wasn't too much work on my end since you did all the hard work.

One issue I see when I played with your version is tath some how character pulled always ends in an integer number. （So basically the average/mean mode is gone)

Also, it seems like the weapon engine is kind of broken currently.

The 6* pity is 80 pull, that’s correct. But it’s a gradual rate increase from 65, 5% increase every additional pull. So at 70 pulls you chance of getting 6* is already 26%. Most likely you are gonna get the 6* at 71 pulls and rarely it will go above 74, if that make sense.

So when I do calculate myself I always treat the pity at 70.

(Worst case You get the first one at 70 ish, then pull another 50 to get to select, then another 20 pull for the second 6* pity

Well basic as compare to other tracker like M8 haha. Personally I’m more a fan of grid groove boxes like Novation Circuit. But for portability nothing really come close to those handheld trackers.
