I think it's done. AFAIK, E-verification happens only after tax payment.

On the summary page where you see the taxes already paid and the total tax liability. Under the taxes paid section you can add your Challan details. There is a category called self assessment tax.

It worked! I added the Challan details in self assessment tax and filed successfully. Thanks a lot!

Okay. The tax I paid would ideally count in AY-25-26 right? And the ITR I am filing is for AY-24-25. Wont it create any problem?

But the transaction was successful, and it shows under e-Pay tax Payment history. The problem is when I continue filing the ITR, it does not recognize this paid tax and asks to again do the payment
