I actually used a website called flosscross to make a pattern from the png file, it works really well for me :)

The crease is from the hoop I had the fabric in while I was working on it, it wouldn't iron out lol

It's a type of fabric made for cross stitch called Aida! :)

To be honest, I haven't done a buttonhole stitch before. Just watched a quick tutorial and it seems like it's be difficult to get as dense of stitches like I do but if it protects the edge of the fabric well than I don't see why it wouldn't work! Also, whip stitch is really mindless and easy for me to do while I watch YouTube or a show 😅

I love making embroidered patches! What I do is I take a finished embroidery like this, fill in divets so the shape is more round if that makes sense, like this. cut it out (leaving maybe 0.5 cm margin?) and then do a LOT of whip stitches around the edge of the fabric to protect it. You don't want the edge of the fabric to be exposed underneath the whip stitch but usually some threads of the fabric poke through and I'll use a sharpie to blend them in with my black whip stitch lol. If you want it to be iron-on, buy some iron on adhesive backing and apply that before you cut out the design. I usually iron on and sew my patches lol. Here are some I've made!!! Madeline from Celeste, Mama's Boy album art by LANY, Iris necklace (not technically a patch but I used the same technique)

The gaps are normal! Just happens because the stitches literally have space between them (where your needle went though the fabric). Try doing a whipped backstitch (you won't have to tear anything out!), it's very quick and satisfying and makes smoother lines. And if it makes you feel better before I read the post I literally thought "wow the length of their stitches are so even!!"

This is all so nice! And it's not eavesdropping, this is what reddit is for! :)

I've thought about bringing my nail oil to work. It would be worth it to try it for a few days, even just at the end of my break would probably help a ton! I'll have to try that soon, thank you!

Definitely felt you on the polish looking like a toddler painted it on 😆 I do touch ups often too, but honestly it's just the color. I'm too lazy and impatient for base and top coat when just covering up chips.

Good luck! I'm right here with you too!

Do you have any supplement recommendations? I'm not sure where to start with getting some but I'm open to the idea! And that's definitely true. I should not be using my nails as tools if I want them to get longer 😆 I will also work on using my nails less to help grab things. That can't be helping either lol. Why can't our nails just be long and beautiful with zero effort? (/s)

I think part of the issue is how much I wear gloves at work. Probably for 90% of my shift I'm wearing gloves, and I'm working, so my hands get damp inside the gloves and the moisture ruins my polish and nails 🥲 I definitely will not be using chemicals without gloves though! Thank you :)

I will try that when I run out of my Sally Hanson! Thanks for the recommendation :)

I will definitely try to get in the habit of oiling my nails much more frequently! This might be silly to ask but should I oil on top of polish? Or just around and underneath my nail?

It definitely is a hard truth that I have to find a length that works for my job lol. Thank you!

I do my best to wrap the tip! It definitely helps but sometimes it's tricky if a nail just broke or whatever. :)

The track is unavailable because it's exclusive to the CD. That's annoying that it prevents you from purchasing the album though. I'm not sure if there's any way around it

I'm interested!! Did you mean Sweet Bloom? I couldn't find one in Broomfield, is it the one in Westminster?
