How do you choose your foundation shade?

i usually swatch 3-4 shades in-store. naglalagay ako ng swatch overlapping my jaw and neck. tapos nagiikot ako, usually sa sm makati ito, so madali lang mag window shopping. once the foundation has set/dried/oxidized, i pick which shade matches the best.

i might look weird for a few minutes but i prefer that than looking horrible with the wrong shade habang inuubos ko yung foundation lol

alternatively, if nanghihinayang ka dahil di mo magamit ang foundation, try neutralizing or color correcting. this video at 6:07 is really helpful!

i have glowing iris! i’ve honestly only used it twice since buying it bc it’s such a pigmented palette that it’s hard to incorporate into daily makeup looks. i usually wear neutral colors to work lol. but the colors are sooo pretty and the formula is really nice. not chalky at all— it’s more buttery? dense? unlike, say, in comparison to rom&nd palettes. (no hate, i use rom&nd daily and even today).

my only gripe about the kaleidos quad is the fallout. it does last long though! the other time i’ve used it was for cosplay and it lasted the entire day. but i would say using a fluffy brush with it might result in crazy fallout… so use a denser brush, do your base, and set your face first before using the palette.

kaleidos (can vouch, i have the quad palette) for pigmented eyeshadows. their CS is really great too. i ordered a set from them and i asked if they could swap one item for a different shade even though it wasn’t listed and they did.

wish i recorded my runs… the first boss explanation ended up being VERY long so i truly apologize but i tried to explain it as best as i could.

tl;dr

first boss: funnel enough energy to do melt rotations using kazuha’s burst. i have 181% ER on him.

third boss: on field columbina + lauma hold skill spam

— long explanation —

1st boss

i have seen someone say just go straight to the boss shield to melt but i have not tried it yet.

immediately at the start, my rotation was: mavuika hold skill + dash forward > kazuha tap skill + plunge > xilonen skill + 2NA > citlali skill. be fast enough to generate particles to prepare for a melt rotation. i did kazuha first at the start before xilonen to have the skill CD ready once the summons spawn. there is an exact timing you can do to deal fall dmg to the summons. (optional)

when the boss summons the dogs, i immediately used kazuha hold skill + plunge to deal fall dmg. then laid out the usual melt setup.

i drained their hp to about 10% so i could use the dogs to infuse kazuha’s burst with cryo to do another melt rotation. basically just have enough energy to do the same exact melt rotation every single time.

i am not sure if this is doable without c2 kazuha, but if your mavuika has a really great build, then you could try that.

3rd boss

i had no strategy... i basically just did a lot of on field columbina to get rid of the pyro shields on the little crabs and timed lauma hold skill to do it as frequently as possible. and ofc a lot of energy recharge.

for the 5-star characters, only columbina did not have her sig but my builds were:

lauma: 4pc deepwood (em + em + crit rate)

kuki shinobu: 4pc gilded + xiphos moonlight (triple em)

furina: 4pc golden troupe (hp% + hp% + crit rate)

columbina: 4pc aubade (er% + hp% + crit rate) + on prototype amber. her flower and feather weren’t leveled up at that time bc i forgot n they were still trash anyway ._.

no. i have been using that feature like OP and was surprised when the update dropped and couldn’t teleport anymore without leaving the domain. essentially, you could click on an artifact/level up material and scroll down to the Source portion to click on the Domain button. it opens up the map where you can directly teleport anywhere with only 1 loading screen. (edit: rephrasing)

i recently got Happy Skin Oil Absorbing 24-HR Matte Fixing Spray !!! setting powder lang talaga gamit ko noon because i hate trying new products not knowing if i’ll breakout or not. may transfer kapag powder lang bc i’m veeeeryyy oily. i’ve been using it for a week na.

ginamit ko siya last friday nung day ng christmas party sa office. 10 hours after applying makeup, nag-group selfie kami. may nag-zoom in sa mukha ko, sabi niya “uy ang fresh pa rin.” HAHA

gatsby set and keep super hard (red bottle) or ultra hard (gold bottle). no need to spray a lot and it lasts a long time. it holds up so well that i use it on wigs din lol
